From an early age, my bond with my mother was profound, imparting values of empathy, compassion, faith, and the importance of education. However, this bond was tested as she began to associate me with my biological father, whose presence in our lives was marked by negativity and danger. This misperception led to years of physical, emotional, and verbal abuse, constructing barriers around me that were misinterpreted as defiance and rebellion by social workers and spiritual guides. This misunderstanding propelled me into a cycle of juvenile delinquency, a desperate plea for recognition and fulfillment of my basic needs, yet it deepened my emotional wounds and strained my relationships.
The turning point came with my placement in a youth treatment center, which, despite its efforts, lacked a spiritual foundation. This absence was felt until my encounter with Christ, marking the beginning of a profound spiritual journey. Despite facing extreme challenges, including severe abuse and legal issues, a pivotal moment occurred when a compassionate individual introduced me to the George Foster Home, offering a beacon of hope and a chance for a fresh start. Encouraged to pursue my GED and employment, I embarked on a path of self-improvement and learning, eventually mastering 17 coding languages and numerous technologies independently. This self-directed learning underscored my belief in the power of self-belief and resilience.
My spiritual awakening continued to unfold, guiding me through cycles of pain and discovery, including a transformative period in the U.S. Navy. This journey was not without its challenges, but it led to significant personal growth and the realization of my true potential. My dedication to avoiding negative influences and embracing a life of spiritual and personal growth culminated in a rewarding career in IT and the creation of a fulfilling home environment.
The most transformative chapter of my life began with a spiritual awakening that led me back to Dayton, Ohio, where I found my soulmate, a divine partnership that has brought unparalleled peace and joy into my life. This relationship, grounded in mutual support, understanding, and spiritual harmony, has been a testament to the power of love and faith. Her children as much as my teacher as I being theirs. For nearly 3 years I have had to support them and learn, all over again, how to be nurturing and still strong.
My mission has evolved into both leading and improving my leadership skills. Leadership leaves no room for impatience or ego; any leadership tainted by these elements is destined to fail. We must relinquish ego and allow ourselves to be guided by the support around us and the Spirit. Aggression, not being of the Spirit, does not embody effective leadership. After years of struggles, I initially wanted nothing to do with children. However, I’ve come to understand that healing others through Spirit is the path to my own healing. This is not about relying on my very limited intelligence, but rather, trusting in Spirit’s guidance.
Another realization comes with true salvation: you understand your insignificance in the grand scheme and recognize that you truly know nothing at all. This is the death of the ego, and it leads to salvation. No matter how intelligent you are, you cannot escape the Spirit. Let go. Burn the past and the bridges behind you, ensuring there’s no path to return even if you desired. This way, you’re committed to progress, with no option for retreat, dedicated entirely to enduring.
My journey has taught me the importance of leading by example, balancing strength and temperance, and the profound peace that comes from living in alignment with one’s spiritual values. I share my story not from a place of authority but as a humble guide, hoping to inspire others on their path to spiritual awakening and personal growth. In doing so, I advocate for compassion, understanding, and forgiveness, recognizing that true leadership is about nurturing and guiding others towards their own enlightenment.
This narrative is not just my testimony; it’s an invitation to all who seek peace and purpose in their lives. It’s a reminder that no matter the depths of our struggles, the potential for transformation and redemption lies within us all. Let us walk gently on this journey, embracing every lesson with an open heart and a spirit ready for awakening.
“My journey has been both a source of pride and humility, shaped significantly by my scars. Initially, I hesitated to reveal my scars, concerned about others’ perceptions. However, I discovered that approaching life with a Christ-like love illuminates my experiences in such a way that those who are spiritually awake can truly comprehend the depth of my scars. For those who aren’t, their understanding or lack thereof becomes inconsequential to me.
I am always open to feedback, briefly considering it to foster my growth. The pain and fear once associated with my scars have dissipated, affirming my faith in the spirit and my quest for understanding life’s profound mysteries. Now awakened, I recognize my duty to guide others towards self-empowerment and enlightenment.“
Peace and Prosperity
